Last week we had to move out to get our bedroom floors sanded and varnished. It's good to be home. It's very exciting (although it also makes me a bit nervous) to have these blank rooms to furnish and decorate now. So many ideas but so little money, time and energy.
Although, we also came home to this too . . . . all our furniture in one room and a fair bit of dust.
But, we also came home to this. . . ripe cherries on our tree!
Lovely afternoon feast and still plenty left to pick tomorrow!
The magpies ate all our cherries, we hardly managed to eat more than a couple of days sporadic picking's worth. Very unfortunate for the cherry loving family of this house. We'll have to delight ourselves in the knowledge that people on the other side of the globe are getting their day's worth :)
